Cheap flights from Zurich to Paris

December, with Christmas travel, and the summer school-holiday weeks are usually the costlier periods; November is the cheapest month in the calendar shown here. If your plans are flexible, compare weekday and weekend departures in the price calendar rather than assuming one day is always cheaper. For the busy December and summer periods, book earlier than for November, and remember that a connection changes your total travel time as well as the fare.

Some carriers on this list sell simple fares where you add bags and seats; others bundle more services and protect you through a connection. There are no direct Zurich to Paris flights, so every option connects, and the airline with the lowest headline fare may not be the one with the smoothest transfer. The carriers named for this route are Air Serbia, Easyjet, Vueling Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines, Air Europa, KLM Cityhopper, Condor, Croatia Airlines, British Airways and Marabu; each sets its own rules on cabin size and rebooking, so check the fare details before you pay.

Before you land, decide which Paris airport your ticket really uses, because Beauvais Tille is far outside the city while Charles de Gaulle and Orly are closer. Arrange your onward transport from the terminal in advance if you arrive late, and remember that a connection can land you at a different airport from the one on your first ticket. RER trains, airport buses and trams are the usual routes in, but allow extra time for Beauvais.
