Cheap flights from Warsaw to Yerevan

March is the cheapest month on this route, and the quieter stretch around it — from late autumn through early spring — usually beats the summer on price. July and August are peak, when school holidays and warm weather in Armenia push fares up, and September and October fill again with travellers chasing mild days. Midweek departures, Tuesday and Wednesday especially, tend to be calmer and cheaper than Friday or Sunday. Watch the winter holidays and the Polish and Armenian public holidays, when people fly home and seats tighten. For spring and autumn, a few weeks ahead is usually enough; for summer, book earlier.

Wizz Air and Wizz Air Malta are the low-cost options here, so the fare covers a seat and a small cabin bag, with checked luggage, seat choice and food as paid extras. LOT Polish Airlines, Air France, Lufthansa, Austrian, Aegean Airlines, Air Baltic, Air Dolomiti and Sky Express are full-service: a checked bag is normally included, meals and seat selection come with the fare, and connections are held on a single ticket if a leg is delayed. On low-cost tickets booked as separate legs, a missed connection is your problem, not the airline's.

Zvartnots International is Yerevan's only airport, set outside the city and a short ride from the centre. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are the usual way in, while shared minibuses and buses cost less if you don't mind walking to a stop. Traffic is light outside rush hour and heavier in the evening. Change a little local currency on arrival or use an ATM in the terminal, and keep your destination address written in Armenian or Russian script to show a driver.
