Cheap flights from Warsaw to Thira

July is the cheapest month on this route, which is worth knowing before you assume peak summer always costs more. The page lists prices for every month of the year, so you can compare the whole calendar instead of guessing. Santorini's season runs from spring into autumn; outside it, ferries and buses thin out and some places close. Book early for summer and aim for midweek departures, when the weekend rush to the islands eases.

Wizz Air, Wizz Air Malta, Sky Express, Aegean Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Hahn Air Systems, Air Baltic, Lufthansa, Eurowings and Air Dolomiti all appear on this route. Some of them fly it nonstop; others sell it as a connection through their own hub, which adds time but can open up better departure times. Low-cost tickets usually come with a small cabin bag only, with hold luggage and seat selection added on top, while full-service fares tend to include more. Check what your fare actually covers before you compare totals.

Santorini's airport is the only one serving Thira. It sits close to Fira and further from the villages in the north, so build in time if you are heading that way. Taxis, the local bus and pre-booked transfers are the usual ways into town, and the bus timetable thins out in the evening. In summer, expect queues at arrivals and a wait for luggage; if you land late, have your transfer arranged before you fly.
