November is the cheapest month on this route, with late autumn and early winter generally quieter than the rest of the year. Spring and early summer bring steadier weather and more families; July and August are the busiest and the hottest, so book those well ahead. It sits a short drive from the capital and from the resorts along that coast, while the trip down to the southern resorts takes noticeably longer. Taxis and public buses leave from the terminal, and shared or private transfers are the usual choice if you are heading straight to a hotel. A rental car makes sense if you want to explore the island, and the desks fill up fast in high season. Do not assume a transfer is included in your package — confirm it before you fly.
