Cheap flights from Warsaw to Kahului

December comes out cheapest on this route, largely because it sits outside the summer rush and before the Christmas travel wave. Late autumn and early spring also price well, while the summer months and school holidays push fares up. Midweek departures, especially Tuesday and Wednesday, tend to cost less than weekend ones. Travel around American Thanksgiving and the winter holidays fills up early. If you can be flexible, aim for a window in late autumn or early winter and book a few months ahead, since seats on the connecting legs fill up faster than you would expect.

The carriers that appear on Warsaw to Kahului itineraries are full-service names rather than low-cost ones: American Airlines, Iberia, British Airways, Finnair, Air Canada, United Airlines, Swiss, EuroAtlantic Airways, Nordic Regional Airlines and Lufthansa Cityline. With no nonstop, most tickets combine two or three of them, and the regional operators usually fly the shorter legs. What is included depends on the fare family rather than the route, so check whether a checked bag, seat selection and meals come with the ticket or cost extra. Mixing airlines in one booking is normal, but a connection you build yourself on separate tickets carries more risk.

All flights land at Kahului Airport, which serves the town and the island around it. It handles both mainland and inter-island traffic, so the arrivals area can be busy when several planes come in together. How you get from there to your accommodation depends on where you are staying; rental cars, taxis and shuttles are the usual options, and booking ahead helps in high season. Before you book, check where you clear United States entry formalities, since on a connecting itinerary that is normally the first American airport you land at rather than your final one.
