The trip into town is short by the standards of a capital: express and local buses run frequently to the city centre and to the main rail and coach stations, and taxis wait at the ranks outside the terminals. Allow extra time on weekday mornings and around rush hour, when the approach roads slow down. If you are heading straight on to another part of Ireland, check whether your onward bus or train leaves from the city centre or from the airport itself before you book.
