Cheap flights from Warsaw to Davao

September is when fares on this route tend to sit at their lowest, and the price calendar runs from September through April with June covered as well. Autumn and late winter departures are the ones Polish travellers watch, while the weeks around Christmas and New Year push prices up in both countries — the Philippine festive season is long, so those dates need booking early. Midweek departures are usually quieter than weekend ones, and how long you wait between flights changes the total.

No airline flies Warsaw to Davao non-stop, so every ticket is a connecting itinerary. LOT Polish Airlines is the home carrier out of Warsaw, while Qatar Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines and Fly Dubai take you through the Gulf or Istanbul. Austrian, Air Dolomiti, British Airways and Finnair connect through their European hubs instead. Most of these are full-service carriers, where a checked bag and meals usually come with the fare, but the lightest fare classes often leave them out. Fly Dubai runs on a low-cost model, so read what is included before you compare totals.

Francisco Bangoy International is the only airport serving Davao, so there is no second gateway to compare — every itinerary ends at the same terminal. Taxis, ride-hailing apps and hotel transfers are the usual ways into the centre, and it is worth arranging one before a late arrival. Immigration and baggage reclaim can move slowly when several long-haul flights land close together, so leave room in your plans for the onward journey. Keep some local currency with you for the ride, and confirm with your hotel whether a pickup is included.

• Check which Warsaw airport your fare leaves from, since F. Chopin and Modlin are both listed and the choice changes your transfer.
• Look at what the fare includes, because a low-cost ticket on a long connection rarely covers a checked bag.
• If your journey is booked as separate tickets, build in a long buffer between flights in case the first one is delayed.
• Confirm the entry rules and any visa requirement for the Philippines well before departure.
• Start with September on the price calendar, then compare the months around it before you commit.
