Cheap flights from Tromso to Madrid

Madrid is hot and bright in summer, with school holidays pushing demand and fares up, while January brings cooler, shorter days and the lowest fares on this route. December around Christmas also tends to price higher, so midweek and off-peak dates are worth checking in the calendar. Because every itinerary connects, compare stopover times as well as departure dates.

The airline list mixes low-cost and full-service brands, and because every itinerary connects, the fare difference often comes from baggage, seat choice and change rules rather than from a non-stop flight. Scandinavian Airlines, Norwegian International, Norwegian, Easyjet, Wizz Air UK, Wizz Air Malta, Transavia Airlines, Transavia France, Vueling Airlines and Air Serbia all operate on this route. Check whether your fare includes checked baggage, a larger cabin bag, seat selection and changes before you book.

Getting into town from Madrid/Barajas is straightforward, with metro, train, bus and taxi links into central Madrid. The transfer feels like an airport-to-city ride rather than a long journey, but terminals are spread out, so check which one your flight uses. Allow time for passport control and baggage collection before heading for onward transport, and confirm your meeting point if someone is collecting you.
