Flights to St. Johns — where from
Airports — St. Johns
Arriving late in the day changes how you leave the airport, because onward transport into the centre becomes less frequent and you may need to arrange a taxi or hire car in advance. St. Johns Airport serves the city, and the usual road journey into the centre is by taxi, hire car or local bus, depending on where you are staying.
When to go
Start with the high season, when the destination's summer weather and school holidays fill flights and push demand up. Quieter months fall outside those peaks, and that is when dated fares are often lower. Winter travel is colder and less comfortable, but it can suit travellers who do not need summer weather. Christmas periods also draw crowds, so plan well ahead if you travel then.
