Cheap flights from Shanghai to Tel Aviv

Booking in November or January often yields better rates than travelling during peak periods. December tends to be the cheapest month for this route, though prices vary by day of week and how far ahead you purchase. Weekday departures generally cost less than weekend flights, and booking at least four weeks before your travel date helps secure lower fares.

Every carrier operating between Shanghai and Tel Aviv Yafo provides full-service connections — none are low-cost operators on this route. Options include Air India, Srilankan Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, Egyptair, Jet Star Japan, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, British Airways, Swiss, and Korean Air. Each airline connects through its own hub network, so your layover location depends entirely on which carrier you select.

Ben Gurion International is Israel's primary airport and handles substantial passenger traffic. The facility sits approximately forty kilometres east of Tel Aviv Yafo city centre, requiring a ground transfer by train, bus, or taxi upon arrival. Allow extra time for security screening and customs procedures during busy travel periods.
