Cheap flights from Poznan to Yerevan

December is the cheapest month on this route, and the calendar shows fares across most of the year, from September through to July. Late autumn and winter are quiet, while summer departures fill up with holiday travel and cost more. If your dates are flexible, midweek flights usually price lower than weekend ones, and flying out on a Tuesday or Wednesday tends to be gentler on the wallet than a Friday or Sunday. Book a few weeks ahead for winter trips and earlier for the summer months, when seats on connecting flights through Europe go first.

There are no non-stop flights from Poznan to Yerevan, so every ticket here is a connecting one. The airlines that show up are mostly full-service European carriers — LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Scandinavian Airlines — with Air Dolomiti and Helvetic Airways on regional legs and Fly Dubai offering a Gulf option. That mix matters when you compare: full-service fares usually bundle more, while a Gulf carrier may sell the pieces separately. Check what your fare includes before you choose, since baggage and change rules differ from airline to airline.

You land at Zvartnots International Airport, the main gateway to Yerevan and a short ride from the city centre. Taxis wait outside arrivals, and ride-hailing apps work well if you want the fare agreed before you set off; shared minibuses run into town for anyone travelling light. Change a little money at the airport only if you need it, since rates in the centre are often kinder, and keep small notes for the first taxi. If you arrive late, have your address written down in Armenian or in clear Latin letters, because not every driver reads English.

• Check whether the whole journey is on one ticket or two separate bookings, because a missed connection on separate tickets is yours to fix.
• Read what the fare includes for baggage and changes, as a light hand-baggage fare can end up costing more once you add a suitcase.
• Confirm your passport is valid well past your travel dates and check the current entry rules for Armenia before you pay.
• Compare the months in the price calendar instead of assuming summer is cheapest, since December prices lowest on this route.
• Allow a comfortable gap between flights when you change planes in Europe, because a delay on the first leg can cost you the second.
