Cheap flights from Olbia to Prague

Summer weekends and the Christmas and New Year period are usually the expensive stretch. April is the lowest month in the calendar for this route, so work back from there when you compare dates. Midweek departures often leave more choice, but check dated prices rather than assuming a pattern; book earlier for peak periods and leave more flexibility when schools are out. If your dates are fixed, compare the whole month before you lock anything in.

The airline that matters most is the one actually flying your chosen date and offering a nonstop option if you need it, so check that first, then compare the rest. Norwegian, Smart Wings, Easyjet, Eurowings, Condor, Iberia, Jet2, Vueling Airlines, Austrian and Swiss all appear on this route; some sell stripped-back fares with paid bags and seats, while others include more in the ticket. Direct flights exist, but not every carrier or date will have one. Read the fare rules before you pay, because the same route name can hide very different inclusions.

Ruzyne is Prague's single main airport, so arrivals are concentrated in one place rather than spread across terminals; that can mean shorter walks but busy passport, baggage and taxi queues at peak times. Into the centre, the usual choices are public transport connections or a taxi, and the ride is longer at rush hour. Watch for terminal and gate changes on the day, and for baggage rules that differ between carriers.

Country facts: Wikidata

• Check whether your fare includes cabin and checked baggage, seat selection and airport check-in, since low-cost tickets often add these later.
• Confirm that your booking names Costa Smeralda and Ruzyne, not a nearby airport or a different city.
• Compare April with the surrounding months before you decide the month is fixed.
• Look at whether your itinerary is nonstop or has a connection, and whether that connection is protected on one ticket.
• Carry the travel document required for the Czech Republic and keep it valid for your whole stay.
