Cheap flights from Manchester to Nuremberg

The destination's summer brings long daylight and warm evenings in Franconia, which is why fares climb then, while November is the cheapest month on this route and the months around it stay gentle on the wallet. The price calendar covers October through March, then picks up again from May to August. Christmas markets draw crowds in December, so book early if that is your window. Midweek departures usually undercut weekend dates.

The difference you feel first is the fare: Easyjet, Vueling Airlines, Jet2 and Sun Express run low-cost models where checked baggage is usually an add-on, while Lufthansa, Lufthansa City Airlines, British Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Air France include more in the base ticket. Turkish Airlines and the other network carriers route you through their hubs, so a connecting flight can cost less than a direct one if you are not in a hurry. Easyjet and Jet2 fly direct from Manchester International.

Before you land, sort out how you will get into town: Nuremberg airport sits close to the city and its underground line runs straight to the centre, so a taxi is rarely necessary. Baggage handling matters more here than transfers, since the airport is compact and arrivals are quick. Watch for Sunday services running thinner if you land late in the week.
