Naples has one airport, Capodichino, and it sits close to the city — a short ride from the centre rather than a long transfer. The Alibus shuttle runs between the terminal, the central station and the port, which is the easiest way in if you are heading on to the islands or down the coast. Local buses and the taxi rank outside arrivals are the other options. Agree the fare or check the meter before you set off, and ignore drivers who approach you inside the terminal. If you are continuing to Sorrento, the Amalfi coast or Capri, the port and the main station are both within easy reach of the airport.
