Cheap flights from London to Montreal

November is the cheapest month on this route, and it is easy to see why: the summer crowds have gone and the city is cold but quiet. Fares climb from June through August, jump again around Christmas and New Year, and stay high through the February school break. If your dates are flexible, aim for a midweek departure and avoid flying out on a Friday or back on a Sunday. Book summer and Christmas travel several months ahead, while the good seats on the non-stop are still open; for a November trip you can often wait and watch the calendar.

A taxi rank and ride-hailing pickups sit outside the arrivals hall, and an express bus runs into the centre if you would rather not pay for a car. Allow time on the way back too: the same roads fill up, and check-in and security queues for transatlantic departures build through the afternoon. If you are connecting onwards inside Canada, you clear customs at Trudeau before the domestic leg, so leave a comfortable gap.
