cheap flights London to Harstad/Narvik

August draws visitors seeking summer light before autumn returns to the Arctic region. School holidays push prices higher than weekdays outside those windows. Book early for peak periods and consider shoulder months when fares settle lower after summer crowds thin out.

Low-cost operators like Easyjet and Norwegian keep base prices simple but charge separately for seats, bags and priority boarding. Full-service carriers such as Swiss, Brussels Airlines, Air France, Austrian, Scandinavian Airlines, Helvetic Airways, Norwegian International and Air Dolomiti bundle seat selection and checked luggage into the fare. Every connection on this route requires a change since no direct service operates between these airports.

Touching down at Harstad airport late in the evening means fewer transport options waiting for you. The terminal sits close enough to walk or take a short taxi ride into town during daylight hours. Public buses run regular schedules but frequency drops significantly after dark, so check timetables before your flight lands.

• Choose which London airport matches your airline since passengers depart from different terminals across the city. Verify whether your ticket includes checked baggage on low-cost carriers where extras appear as separate fees. Confirm that any connections remain on a single booking rather than splitting purchases across airlines. Ensure your passport remains valid for entry into Norway before departure day arrives.
