Cheap flights from Lanzarote to Krakow

Book roughly two to three months before your departure date to lock in the most reliable fares, especially when planning travel around school holidays or the December festival period. Weekday departures on Tuesday and Wednesday usually stay steadier than weekend flights, which see higher demand from short-break travellers. Outside of March, late autumn and early spring offer noticeably quieter schedules, giving you more flexibility with layovers and ground transport without competing against peak summer tourism or Christmas market traffic.

Choosing a carrier on this route comes down to whether you prefer a basic seat and pay for extras, or want a cabin that includes checked luggage and meal service. Low-cost operators like Easyjet, Jet2, Vueling Airlines, and Norwegian keep base fares lean while charging for priority boarding and hold bags. Full-service networks such as British Airways, Iberia, Air Europa express, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and BA EuroFlyer generally bundle a carry-on allowance with your ticket and handle missed connections under a single reservation. You can mix these options depending on how much cabin baggage you need and whether your itinerary requires a quick turnaround or a longer layover.

Before you touch down at Krakow Balice, arrange your ground transport in advance so you do not waste time waiting for taxis or shuttle buses on the arrival curb. The airport sits a short drive north of the historic centre, connecting directly to main bus and train links running into the Old Town. Local transit operators run frequent services throughout the day, while ride-share drivers and hotel shuttles typically queue just outside baggage claim. Keep your electronic boarding passes ready for any shuttle checks, and allow extra time if you are travelling during early morning arrivals when public transport frequencies have not yet returned to full schedules.

• Verify how your layover is handled when booking multiple tickets on separate reservations, since missing a connection leaves you responsible for rebooking without airline assistance.
• Confirm whether your fare class includes checked hold luggage or restricts you to cabin-only bags, especially if flying with carriers that charge extra for weight and dimensions.
• Check the departure terminal at Lanzarote to ensure you are flying from the correct gate area rather than confusing it with nearby island airports.
• Review visa and passport validity rules for Poland before packing, as entry requirements can change outside of standard tourist windows.
