Cheap flights from Krakow to Shenzhen

November is the cheapest month to fly from Krakow to Shenzhen, and the months around it, September, October and the winter ones, usually sit close behind. Demand peaks around Chinese New Year and again in the run-up to Christmas, when seats on connecting routes fill early. Summer, especially July, is family travel season in Europe, so fares climb. Midweek departures tend to give you more choice of connections than weekend ones. If your dates can move, check a couple of weeks either side of November before you commit.

None of the carriers on this route fly it non-stop, so every itinerary is built around a European hub. Lufthansa and its regional arm Lufthansa Cityline, Air France with Cityjet, KLM Cityhopper, Scandinavian Airlines, Finnair, Aegean Airlines and Luxair are full-service names, and what comes with your ticket depends on the fare you choose rather than the airline alone. Fly Dubai is the low-cost option here, where bags and food are usually extras. Compare the fare rules before you pick, because a ticket with baggage included can suit a long trip better than a bare one.

Shenzhen airport lies outside the city centre, and the metro is the easiest way in, with airport buses and taxis alongside it. Immigration at Shenzhen can take a while on a long-haul arrival, so build in time if you have plans for the same day. Late at night the metro thins out and a taxi becomes the practical choice. Have your hotel address written in Chinese characters to show the driver, and double-check which terminal your flight uses before you leave the arrivals hall.
