Cheap flights from Krakow to Faro

November is the cheapest month for this route, and the weeks on either side of it usually come close. Summer school holidays lift fares, and the run-up to Christmas and New Year does the same. Midweek departures tend to be quieter than Friday and Sunday, when short trips overlap. If your dates are open, let the price calendar pick the month for you. If they are fixed, book summer and holiday travel well ahead and leave the low season later.

Ryanair, Wizz Air and Jet2 sell the low-cost seats here, and their fares cover a seat and a small cabin bag, with checked luggage and seat choice charged on top. The connecting itineraries come from KLM Cityhopper, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Dolomiti, Brussels Airlines, Helvetic Airways and German Airways, and those tickets usually put both legs on one booking, which matters if the first flight runs late. Direct low-cost seats are the cheaper starting point; a connecting full-service fare costs more but keeps the whole journey on a single ticket.

You land at Faro airport, the only airport serving the city, and the centre is a short ride from the terminal. Buses, taxis and pre-booked shuttles are the usual ways into town, and a rental car only pays off if you plan to move along the coast during your stay. If you arrive on a late flight, check the last bus time before you book. On the way out, Faro handles both the low-cost and the connecting departures, so allow extra time in summer.
