Cheap flights from Krabi to Krakow

November is the cheapest month on this route, and the months around it — September, October, December and January — usually sit close behind, so compare a few departure dates before you fix on one. Prices are shown for September through May, which covers the dry season in Krabi and the run-up to summer in Krakow. Midweek departures are generally quieter than weekend ones, and the Christmas and New Year stretch is the period to book furthest ahead. If your dates are flexible, shifting by a week can change the fare more than changing airline.

Several carriers sell this route, and they split into two groups. Air Arabia, Fly Dubai, Scoot and Firefly are the low-cost names, where the headline fare buys a seat and a small cabin bag, and checked luggage, seat choice and food cost extra. Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways Intl, Finnair, Etihad Airways, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines are the full-service carriers, where a checked bag and a meal are normally part of the ticket. Where a fare is a connection rather than a direct flight, check whether it is one ticket or two before you compare totals.

You land at Balice, the airport that serves Krakow. It sits outside the city, so the last leg belongs in your plan: trains and buses run between the airport and the centre, and taxis or ride-hailing apps are the easy option when you arrive late or with heavy bags. After a long flight from Thailand, allow time for immigration and baggage before you count on a specific connection into town. Krabi airport, where you start, is small and quick to move through, so the less predictable part of the day is usually the arrival.

Country facts: Wikidata

• Krabi has a single airport, so check how you will get there and how early you need to arrive before an international departure.
• If your fare is with a low-cost carrier, add checked baggage when you book rather than at the airport.
• When a trip is sold as two separate tickets, a missed connection is yours to fix, so leave a generous buffer between flights.
• Check the entry rules and passport validity for Poland before you pay, not after.
• Aim at November for the lowest fares, and compare the months either side before you commit.
• Look at the Christmas and New Year dates early, since that is when this route fills up.
