Cheap flights from Corfu (Kerkyra) to Madrid

Madrid has long, bright summer days and shorter winter ones; fares usually track those seasons, with March the lowest-priced month in the dated fares. Summer and the Christmas period tend to fill up, and school holidays remove the cheapest seats first. Weekday departures can price lower than weekend ones, but the calendar matters more than the day of the week. Book early for July, August and December, and stay flexible in March if you want the lowest fare.

On the cheaper fares, hold baggage, seat choice and changes usually cost extra; higher fare families bundle more of that into the price. The carriers listed for Corfu (Kerkyra) to Madrid are Transavia France, Easyjet, Volotea, Transavia Airlines, Aegean Airlines, Edelweiss Air, Eurowings Discover, ITA Airways, Brussels Airlines and Iberia, with nonstop flights available and other itineraries connecting through a hub. The same route can be sold as very different products, so compare inclusions rather than the headline fare alone. Booking separate tickets on different carriers can save money but leaves you unprotected if one flight is delayed.

From Barajas you can reach central Madrid by metro, commuter rail, airport bus or taxi, and the transfer feels quick outside rush hour but stretches in heavy traffic. Check which terminal your flight uses, because the airport is large and moving between terminals takes time. Public transport thins out late at night, so a taxi may be the practical option for a late arrival. Keep some flexibility in your first evening in case the journey from the airport runs longer than expected.
