Cheap flights Katowice – Larnaca

November is the cheapest month on this route, and late autumn into winter generally stays kind on price, with September and October still warm enough for the sea on the Cyprus coast. Fares climb around Christmas and New Year, then again from late spring through summer, when Cypriot beach season meets the Polish school holidays. Midweek departures tend to be quieter than Friday and Sunday, which carry the weekend crowd. For summer and the holidays, book a few weeks ahead; for a November trip you can often leave it later and still do fine.

Wizz Air, Buzz, Smartwings Poland and Enter Air are the low-cost names you will see on Katowice – Larnaca, and they are usually where the non-stop options sit. LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss and Air Dolomiti are the full-service carriers, and their itineraries often mean a change of plane rather than a straight run. CitizenPlane and WorldTicket also turn up among the offers. What is included differs a lot between a low-cost ticket and a full-service one, so compare the fare with a bag and a seat added rather than the headline figure alone.

Larnaca airport is the airport serving the city, and it sits close to Larnaca town, a short transfer rather than a long haul from the plane. Buses, taxis, pre-booked transfers and rental cars all leave from the terminal. If your hotel is in Ayia Napa, Limassol or Paphos, the drive is much longer, and a shared transfer can turn into a tour of the coast. Check your landing time before booking a transfer, since late-night arrivals leave fewer buses running. Confirm whether your accommodation is in Larnaca itself or further along the shore before you choose how to get there.
