Cheap flights from Guangzhou to Warsaw

March is the cheapest month on this route, and the weeks around it, from late winter into spring, usually stay reasonable. Summer and the run-up to Christmas are the priciest, when Polish families fly home and Chinese travellers head out on holiday. Flying midweek, on a Tuesday or Wednesday, tends to cost less than a weekend departure. Air China, China Southern Airlines and Juneyao Airlines cover the first leg out of Guangzhou and hand you over to a partner for the rest; Eva Air and Kenya Airways offer less obvious routings that sometimes come up cheaper. All of these are full-service carriers, so a checked bag usually comes with the fare, though the allowance depends on the fare family, and on a long connection it is worth confirming that your bags are checked through to Warsaw.

Warsaw has two airports, and which one you land at depends on the airline. F. Chopin is the main one and sits close to the city, with buses and a rail link into the centre and taxis at the rank outside arrivals. Modlin is well outside Warsaw to the north and mostly handles low-cost traffic; getting in means a shuttle bus or a train from the nearby station, and the transfer takes noticeably longer, so build that into your plans if you land late. Check your ticket carefully before you fly, because a connection that looks convenient into Chopin can leave you with a long ride if you actually arrive at Modlin.
