Cheap Flights from Edinburgh to Burgas

The high season spans May through July with fares climbing as holidays approach. October brings moderate pricing before the winter slowdown. November offers the lowest average fares across most days of the week. Book midweek departures when possible to avoid weekend premiums. School holiday periods in both countries affect availability and price levels significantly.

Easyjet operates direct services with basic fare options that exclude checked baggage unless purchased separately. Jet2 provides all-inclusive tickets covering a carry-on bag on most routes. Lufthansa and Aegean Airlines connect through their respective hubs, requiring longer travel times but offering flexible ticket conditions. Luxair, Aer Lingus, Emerald Airlines, and Loganair Limited each serve this corridor with varying connection patterns. Full-service carriers include meals and seat selection in their base fares.

Burgas Airport sits on the Black Sea coast near the city centre, a short taxi ride away. The terminal handles seasonal traffic spikes during summer months, which means longer waiting times for ground transport. Buses and taxis provide regular connections to central Burgas throughout the day. Allow extra time during peak July and August periods when multiple flights arrive simultaneously.
