Flights from Dublin to Tromso

Long daylight hours and mild coastal weather define the summer season in Tromso, making it a popular time for visitors. Prices tend to peak during these brighter months when demand is highest. You will find lower fares by booking flights in August, which remains the most affordable time to travel compared to other periods. Travelers often secure better value here than during the winter holidays or autumn peaks, though options exist for every month of the year.

Fares vary significantly depending on which carrier you choose and what baggage allowances are included in the base ticket. Budget-oriented tickets from carriers like Emerald Airlines, Cityjet, or HOP! often require extra payments for checked bags and seat selection. Full-service options such as Swiss, Edelweiss Air, and Scandinavian Airlines generally include more amenities in their standard price. You should review the specific policy of Aer Lingus, Wider, Norwegian International, or Norwegian before booking to ensure your luggage requirements are covered by the fare you select.

Arriving at Tromso Langnes airport places you just outside the city centre, with a short transfer required to reach your accommodation. Taxis and local buses provide straightforward access from the terminal to downtown areas without long waits. You can expect a quick journey that lets you settle in before heading out to explore the surroundings. Checking the timetables upon landing helps you plan this first leg efficiently, especially if you arrive during odd hours when schedules may shift.
