Cheap flights from Dublin to Damascus

Winter brings shorter days and cooler temperatures to Damascus, which keeps demand steady through the colder months. Travelers often find the most affordable fares during December, when daylight hours shrink and the region experiences its usual seasonal slowdown. Prices also appear for October, November, January, February, and June, giving you several windows to compare schedules and pick a departure that matches your calendar.

The schedule mixes full-service network carriers with regional specialists, all providing connecting itineraries rather than direct service. You will encounter DAN AIR, Hahn Air Technologies, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Aer Lingus, Scandinavian Airlines, Emirates, Emerald Airlines, and British Airways across the timetable. Each airline operates through its own hub network, which determines your layover location and the total number of stops. Because the route relies entirely on connections, you should verify how many segments each ticket covers and whether your baggage allowance applies across the entire journey.

Arriving at Damascus International airport after dark means ground transportation options become limited, and you will need to arrange your transfer in advance. The terminal sits on the outskirts of the city centre, so you should allow extra time for the ride regardless of your arrival hour. Most visitors rely on prebooked taxis or hotel shuttles to reach their accommodations, which is especially important when you land during evening hours or early morning. Having your destination address written in the local script will help drivers navigate quickly once you clear the arrival hall.
