Cheap Flights from Dortmund to Almaty

February tends to offer lower fares on this route, making it worth planning ahead if your dates are flexible. The rest of the year shows prices in October through March and again in July, with gaps outside those periods. Booking a few weeks before departure usually gives you better options than waiting until the last minute, especially when traveling near holiday periods.

All three carriers on this route—Pegasus, Sun Express and Eurowings—are low-cost airlines rather than full-service flag carriers. None of them operate direct flights between Dortmund and Almaty, so every journey involves at least one connection. Each airline includes different allowances for checked baggage and cabin items, so you will need to compare what is included in each fare before choosing.

Before landing at Almaty Intl Airport arrange your transport from the terminal, as it sits some distance from the city centre. Taxis and ride-hailing services are available outside arrivals, and public buses run into town on regular schedules. Factor in travel time when planning onward connections or hotel check-ins.
