Cheap flights from Chongqing to Almaty

Almaty gets cold in winter with shorter daylight, while spring brings longer days through April and May. December tends to offer lower fares when travel demand drops after the holiday season. You should look for prices from October through June since those months show available options on this route.

The carriers on this route include several Chinese airlines like Shanghai Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, Beijing Capital Airlines, Xiamen Airlines and Sichuan Airlines. You will also find GetJet Airlines Latvia, FlyArystan, and Asiana Airlines among the options. Each airline structures its fares differently for what baggage and meals are included.

Getting to Almaty late in the evening means fewer ground transport options until morning. The city has one main airport called Almaty Intl Airport which sits within easy reach of downtown. You can take a taxi or wait for scheduled bus services that run through most hours of the day and night.
