Cheap flights from Cancun to Flores

The weeks either side of July are worth testing first, then July itself is the cheapest month in the fare data.

November, December, January, February, March, April and July are the months with priced departures in the calendar. School holidays and the Christmas period can push fares up, so compare midweek and weekend departures before you book. Check how far ahead you need to book for your chosen month, because the cheapest seats on connecting routes can disappear early.

The route mixes carriers with different fare rules, and none flies it nonstop.

The listed airlines are Avianca, Taca Intl Airlines, Copa Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Lacsa, United Airlines, American Airlines and AeroMéxico. All require a connection, and total travel time depends on the routing. Some tickets bundle checked bags and seat selection, while lighter fares may charge for them, so compare the fare rules before booking.

You land at Mundo Maya, which serves Flores and sits outside the town centre.

A taxi or shuttle is the usual way into Flores; arrange transport before a late arrival. Keep your passport and entry documents handy for immigration, and allow time for baggage collection before leaving the terminal.
