Cheap flights from Birmingham to Tel Aviv

Prices tend to rise significantly during late autumn as holidaymakers travel before the colder months arrive across northern Europe. The expensive period extends through December into early January when winter break bookings fill seats quickly. Demand drops noticeably once spring begins, positioning February as a time for cheaper tickets compared to the busy seasonal peaks.

Most passengers connect through major hubs so carriers like Lufthansa City Airlines and Swiss route you via Frankfurt or Zurich respectively. Easyjet and Jet2 often offer quicker layovers while legacy brands such as Scandinavian Airlines and Air France link their primary bases before reaching Israel. Eurowings, Aer Lingus, Edelweiss Air and Air Dolomiti also serve this corridor with varying baggage policies on long journeys.

Ben Gurion International is a large terminal handling heavy traffic from many origins rather than just one specific region. Reaching the city centre requires either a train trip or a taxi ride depending on how much luggage you brought along to your destination. Waiting times can vary during busy arrival periods so allowing extra time for baggage claim and customs clearance is wise.

• Passport validity must be checked well before departure to avoid issues at immigration checkpoints upon arrival in Israel.
• Verify whether your fare includes hold baggage because low-cost tickets on this route often require separate payment for extra weight.
• Confirm that connecting flights are booked on the same reservation if you wish to stay within a single ticket protection window.
• Consider booking travel insurance since medical costs abroad can add unexpected expenses to your holiday budget without warning.
