Cheap flights from Belo Horizonte to Lima

December and January are the expensive stretch, with Christmas, New Year and school holidays all in play. If you can move, work back from those weeks toward October, February or March. November is the cheapest of the months with dated fares on this route. Midweek and weekend departures can differ, so check both. Book further ahead for December and January than for November, and use the price calendar while you compare dates.

Every itinerary connects somewhere, so the first thing to compare is the connection point, total journey time and the chance of a missed link. The carriers on this route are Latam Airlines Brasil, LATAM Airlines, Azul, GOL Linhas Aereas S.A., Aerolineas Argentinas, Copa Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines. None of them fly Belo Horizonte to Lima non-stop, and fare inclusions can change between legs on a connecting ticket. Check baggage, seat selection, changes and refunds for each carrier before you pay, rather than trusting the headline fare alone.

Jorge Chavez International is Lima's main gateway, so arrivals, transfers and waits all funnel through one busy airport complex. Give yourself time for immigration, baggage and the road transfer into central Lima, especially if you land at a peak hour. The usual options into town are a pre-arranged transfer or an on-arrival taxi or ride, and the right choice depends on your arrival time and luggage. Watch for queues, keep your documents handy, and settle your transfer before you leave the arrivals area.
