Cheap flights from Mulhouse-Basel to Baku

Book as early as you can once your dates are fixed, because the cheapest month in the published calendar is February and the better fares tend to disappear first. The months with prices run from October through May and again from July through September, so compare the listed months against school holidays, Christmas and Baku's summer rather than chasing a single date; midweek and weekend departures should both be checked. If your plans are flexible, the gap between the listed months matters as much as the day of the week, since some dates simply have no published fare at all.

The difference you feel first is between a seat-only fare and one that includes more, so read the baggage, seat and change rules before comparing totals. The carriers listed for this route are Easyjet, Wizz Air, Ajet, Pegasus, Lufthansa, Sun Express, Smart Wings, Lufthansa Cityline, El Al Israel Airlines and Israir, and every one of them connects somewhere because no nonstop flight operates; some itineraries may be sold as separate tickets, which means protection and baggage transfer are your responsibility. If a low headline price needs paid bags, paid seats or a second ticket, the apparent saving can vanish before you reach Baku.

Heydar Aliyev International is a large capital airport, so arrival, immigration and baggage can take longer than at a small field, and you should plan your onward transfer with that in mind. Usual ways into central Baku include taxi and public transport, but check the current service and pickup point at the terminal rather than assuming a route; if you land late, arrange the transfer before you leave the airport. Watch for currency exchange, SIM cards and the taxi negotiation or official queue, because the first hour after landing is when small mistakes become expensive.
