Cheap flights from Almaty to Berlin

In January, Berlin has short days and cold weather, which matters as much as the fare if you plan to walk or sightsee. January is also the cheapest month in the price calendar on this route. In the summer months the days are long and mild, so the same city feels different even though the flight is the same length. School holidays and Christmas are fixed calendar events, so compare dates on either side rather than only the exact holiday week. Use the price calendar to see which listed months are cheaper, and let the weather decide which month suits the trip.

There is no nonstop option on this route, so every listed carrier sells a connecting itinerary; the difference is in connection length, terminal changes and what the fare includes. Some fares are basic and leave out bags or meals, while others include them, and the booking details show which applies to each offer. The airlines listed are Pegasus, Sun Express, Azerbaijan Airlines, Ajet, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, SCAT JSC Aircompany, Uzbekistan Airways, LOT Polish Airlines and Fly Dubai. Compare connection time and minimum connection rules, because a missed onward flight can become your problem on separate tickets.

Landing late in the day changes the trip more than the fare does: transfers thin out, shops close and a missed last train turns into a taxi ride. Arrivals are at BrBrandenburg, the airport for this route, which sits outside the city and needs a planned transfer. Trains and buses run into central Berlin, but check the last departure times if your flight lands in the evening. Passport control and baggage reclaim come first, so a late arrival can make the first night a check-in exercise rather than sightseeing. Build that transfer into your itinerary when you compare flights.
