Modlin WMI
Cheap flights from Warsaw Modlin are easier to pin down once you know which of the city's airports you're booking. Modlin (WMI) is one of Warsaw's two airports, working alongside F. Chopin, and the destinations that come up most often from here are Barcelona, Milan, Athens, Chisinau, Helsinki, Dublin, Paris and Paphos. That list is short-haul and leisure-led, so the carriers and the timetable change with the season. Compare both Warsaw airports before you commit — the same trip can leave from either one.

Getting to the city
Modlin is not a city-centre airport, so treat the run into Warsaw as part of the journey rather than an afterthought. The transfer is a road one, and the choices open to you depend on when you land — a late arrival leaves fewer of them than a midday one. Check the airport's own transfer information for what runs on your date, and build in a buffer if you're heading straight to a train, a meeting or another flight. Don't cut it fine on the way out either: leave the city earlier than you would for F. Chopin. If your schedule is tight, F. Chopin may suit you better.
