Malaga AGP
Cheap flights from Malaga leave from Malaga Airport, coded AGP, the only airport serving the city. Its route map mixes Spanish links — Bilbao, Barcelona, Valencia, Menorca and Tenerife — with short international hops to Marrakech, Venice and Milan. That spread keeps the terminal busy all year, and because no second airport covers Malaga, every arrival and departure runs through here. Check the airline and terminal on your ticket before you set off.

Getting to the city
Transfers between Malaga Airport and the city run by road, and the trip into the city is short enough that a taxi, a private transfer or public transport all work. Allow extra time in summer and at weekends, when the coast road and the terminal both slow down. If you are heading further along the coast or to another town, arrange the onward leg before you land rather than queuing at arrivals. For early departures, aim to be at the airport with room to spare. Security queues build up when several flights leave together.
