Getting to the city
Eglinton Airport lies outside Londonderry, so the transfer can take longer than expected and should be planned before you book.
Allow extra time for the road journey, check how you will travel between the airport and the city, and avoid tight same-day connections or late arrivals with no onward transport arranged. If you are collecting a hire car, confirm opening hours and return instructions in advance, and keep the journey simple when you have an early or late flight.
