Dionsios Solomos ZTH
Cheap flights from Zakinthos Island are hardest to find around school holidays and the island's summer, when more travellers head for the beaches. Dionsios Solomos (ZTH) handles the island's air traffic, with popular departures to Budapest, Warsaw, Chisinau, Athens, Bucharest, Naples, Milan and Krakow. The airline mix changes by season and route, so compare fare rules, not just headline prices. Check whether baggage, seat selection and meals are included before you book. Flexible dates can open up cheaper options.

Getting to the city
Dionsios Solomos sits on Zakinthos Island itself, so the ride to town stays short but can slow when summer traffic builds. Taxis, buses and rental cars are the usual choices, and pre-booking a transfer can reduce waiting at busy arrivals. Allow extra time if you land late or during peak season, and use only licensed taxis from the official rank. Keep your booking details and meeting point noted before you land, in case your phone signal drops.
