Chongqing CKG
Budapest, Istanbul and Warsaw are among the popular destinations from Chongqing's airport (CKG) in China, and cheap flights from Chongqing are easier to judge when you compare dated fares across a few months. CKG is the only airport serving the city, so every itinerary starts there. Check weekdays as well as weekends before you book, and look at a spread of months rather than one date. Popular routes to Paris, Tbilisi, Newcastle and Vienna can change price by departure day, so compare the whole week.

Getting to the city
Public transport is usually the cheapest way into Chongqing from CKG, especially if you travel light and can walk between stops. Taxis and ride-hailing cost more but save time with luggage or late-night arrivals. Allow extra time at peak hours, avoid unlicensed drivers in the arrivals hall, and confirm your terminal before you set off; the airport is the city's only one, so every transfer starts from the same place.
