Charles De Gaulle CDG
Flights from Paris Charles De Gaulle bring you into the airport most travellers mean when they book a ticket to the French capital. CDG is one of the gateways serving Paris, alongside Orly and Beauvais Tille, so check which airport your fare actually names before you commit. Routes from here include Krakow, Chisinau, Warsaw, Budapest, London, Prague, Milan and Vienna, a mix of short European hops and longer international traffic.

Getting to the city
Check the code on your ticket before you plan the ride into Paris. CDG, Orly and Beauvais Tille are separate airports and they are not interchangeable, so a fare that looks right may not land you where you pictured. Once you know you arrive at Charles De Gaulle, settle your onward option in advance — rail, bus or taxi — and leave a buffer. Landing times slip, and queues for onward transport build when several long-haul arrivals touch down together. Give the return leg the same care: leaving too little time between the city and the airport is the mistake that costs people their flight.
