Getting to the city
Getting from Changi into the city is easy enough: a rail link connects the airport with the downtown stations, and taxis, ride-hailing and public buses cover the rest. Check the last train departure before you rely on it on a late arrival, and keep a taxi or a booked car as a fallback. Allow extra time on weekday mornings and in the evening peak, when trains and roads are busiest. If you are carrying a lot of luggage, going door to door in a taxi beats changing trains with bags.
