Getting to the city
The fastest way into Iguassu Falls is usually a taxi or ride-hailing car from the terminal, and it avoids waiting for the next bus or shuttle. If you prefer public transport, check the route and timetable before you land, since services can be slower or less frequent outside busy periods, and allow extra margin for traffic, holiday weekends and the first queue at immigration. Avoid relying on a tight same-day connection if you have an onward bus, tour or hotel check-in waiting for you.
