Balice sits outside Krakow, so the ride into town is part of the journey. A train and several bus lines link the airport with the centre, and taxis and ride-hailing cars wait outside arrivals. The train is the safer bet when traffic builds on the roads into town; buses take longer but stop closer to some neighbourhoods. Leave extra room on weekday mornings and Sunday evenings, when the roads and the terminal both get busy.
