Balice KRK
Cheap flights from Krakow leave from Balice, the airport that carries the code KRK. It is the only passenger airport serving the city, so every trip in or out of Krakow by air passes through it. Airlines here link Poland with Paris, Barcelona, London, Valencia, Milan, Nice, Rome and Oslo, a mix of short hops and longer runs. Fares move with the season and the day of the week, so the price calendar is the fastest way to see what a date really costs.

Getting to the city
Balice sits outside Krakow, so the ride into town is part of the journey. A train and several bus lines link the airport with the centre, and taxis and ride-hailing cars wait outside arrivals. The train is the safer bet when traffic builds on the roads into town; buses take longer but stop closer to some neighbourhoods. Leave extra room on weekday mornings and Sunday evenings, when the roads and the terminal both get busy. On the way home, clear security early, because the queues at Balice can be longer than you expect.
