Getting to the city
The fastest way into Nantes from Nantes Atlantique is usually a direct road transfer when traffic is light, while shared or public transport can take longer; allow extra time at peak periods and avoid relying on the last departure without checking it first. Travellers should also compare the return journey and any connection times, because the airport is the city's only listed gateway and the route choice matters as much as the fare. Keep documents handy and follow signs for the city centre rather than assuming every service stops nearby.
