About the airline
China Southern Airlines is a Chinese carrier whose network reaches across China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and on into Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and South Korea. Its route map is broad: Warsaw to Tokyo, Budapest to Istanbul or Baku, Istanbul to Bangkok, Helsinki to Warsaw, Budapest to Madrid.
Passengers rate this airline well, so you can expect a dependable flight rather than a gamble. Ratings describe the average, though — your cabin, aircraft and date still decide how the trip feels.
Before you book, check whether your fare flies direct or connects, and where. On long trips the layover city and its length matter more than the airline's name. Look at what the ticket includes: hold baggage, meals, seat selection and change rules. Then compare the same dates across carriers, because fares on routes like Budapest to Madrid move with the season.
