Air France flies under the AF code, and its name shows up on the routes listed here in both directions: Chisinau to Istanbul, Tbilisi, Paris, Barcelona and Milan, plus Istanbul back to Chisinau. Passengers rate the airline well, which in practice means you can book it without much second-guessing, though comparing the fare with other carriers on the same day still pays off. The network stretches across Europe and North Africa, covering France, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Portugal, Morocco and Algeria. Before you book, check whether your itinerary is nonstop or involves a change of plane, which airport you leave from, what baggage is included, and whether Air France or a partner issues the ticket. Look at the fare rules for changes and refunds too, and choose your seat early if that matters to you.
